- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Outdoor team sports are often played in this park. Though I haven't ever attended a event held in this park, I did note that there is a concession stand - possibly with bathrooms - in the middle, inbetween the several fields. Local folk's often use it for playing fetch or Frisbee with their dog's - most seem responsible enough to pick up after their pooches. Lovely trails for a stroll, ride or run in the woods, starts just beyond the playing fields . Must warn you - trails all go down hill on the way out & uphill on the way back. Nice place for a in town walk. The trails are actually called the Northeast Woods. These trails can be accessed from Highland Park & HP parking lot.
